As a Scenter Manager, you are responsible for driving membership growth, revenue performance, and team execution while delivering an exceptional experience for dogs and pet parents. This is a highly visible leadership role that blends sales, people management, and operations in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

What You’ll Do
Sales & Revenue Leadership
- Own and drive membership sales and engagement
- Drive top-line revenue through memberships, add-on services, and retail (secondary focus)
- Educate pet parents on the value of routine hygiene and preventive wellness
Marketing & Community Engagement
- Leverage marketing leads to drive trial visit scheduling
- Build brand awareness through local store marketing, partnerships, and grassroots efforts
- Represent Scenthound in the community through events, outreach, and relationship-building
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, coach, and manage a team of approximately 6–10 team members
- Interview, hire, onboard, coach, and make termination decisions when necessary
- Conduct daily huddles to align the team on goals, priorities, and performance
- Manage staff productivity, scheduling, and utilization
- Create a positive, accountable, and growth-oriented team culture
Operations & Experience Management
- Oversee daily Scenter operations to ensure efficiency, safety, and consistency with brand standards
- Ensure a seamless, high-quality experience for dogs and pet parents from check-in through pick-up
- Hold the team accountable for delivering exceptional drop-off and pick-up experiences that educate pet parents and drive membership conversion
- Monitor and optimize calendar utilization, staffing levels, and workflow to support demand and revenue goals
- Ensure accurate execution of the SCENT Check process as a core educational and sales tool
- Maintain oversight of inventory, cleanliness, and facility standards
- Uphold all safety protocols, operational procedures, and brand expectations
- Identify operational opportunities and implement improvements that enhance performance, customer experience, and team effectiveness
What We’re Looking For
- A proactive, results-driven leader with a strong sales mindset
- Experience in sales and marketing, preferably in:
- Retail or hospitality
- Membership-based businesses
- Grassroots or local marketing
- Proven people management and leadership experience
- Experience managing a retail location and overseeing daily operations
- Strong communication skills with the ability to educate, persuade, and motivate
- Comfortable working in a customer-facing, dog-centered environment
- Dog or pet experience preferred but not required
